Military Affairs Committee Social September 3, 2025
The Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee proudly hosted its first Military Affairs Committee Social on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025.
Our honored guest speaker, Colonel Arntson, shared insightful perspectives on military life, current news, and his distinguished career in the Army. Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with Colonel Arntson, ask thoughtful questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the experiences and responsibilities of those who serve.
The event was held at Gambit Social House, where the welcoming atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for networking, conversation, and community building. Attendees enjoyed connecting with one another in a relaxed environment while strengthening the bonds between our local military and civilian communities.
We are thrilled with the success of this event and look forward to hosting more socials in the future as the Military Affairs Committee continues to grow and expand its impact.
Stay tuned for our next MAC event. Details will be posted here and shared on the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.

We have partnered with the Military Family Advisory Network as a pick-up spot for PCS boxes to help welcome new military families to our area! The PCS Pantry Restock Box includes a variety of household items and pantry staples to help families offset the expenses of a military move and make the process a little bit easier. If you are or you know a soldier new to Harker Heights, tell them to stop by the Chamber and pick up a box to help make the transition smooth.
